Terms of service

Short and plain. Two clauses matter most: forecasts are estimates, not guarantees, and service is best-effort, no SLA. The rest is standard.

Last updated May 3, 2026

1. What PitCrew is

PitCrew is a pre-deploy cost-forecast tool for AI agents. You describe the agent you’re planning to build; PitCrew computes what it would cost at typical volume on published rate cards, and lists optimizations it considered.

That’s the whole product. No live monitoring, no API key ingestion, no managed infrastructure.

2. The forecast is an estimate

Every dollar figure on every report comes with a confidence band (low / mid / high). The band reflects uncertainty in the inputs — most of which are your guesses, since the agent doesn’t exist yet. Pre-deploy estimates of call volume miss by ±50% on average. The band shows that.

Don’t commit a budget against the mid value alone. Use the high end for ceiling planning, the low end for stretch goals, and the cascade as a list of levers — not promises.

We make no warranty that the savings shown are achievable on your actual workload. Some optimizations carry quality tradeoffs; the report flags them, but the call to deploy them is yours.

3. Service availability

PitCrew runs on Vercel + Supabase. We aim for high uptime but don’t offer an SLA. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, deploys, or upstream incidents.

Pricing data is updated manually. Rates change; we cite the last-verified date on each report. If you’ve negotiated enterprise discounts, your real numbers will differ.

4. How to use the service

You agree to:

  • Use PitCrew for legitimate cost-forecasting purposes.
  • Not submit content you don’t have rights to (copyrighted system prompts, NDA-protected information, etc.).
  • Not abuse the rate limits or attempt to scrape/automate against the parser API.
  • Not submit malware, exploits, or content designed to compromise the service or other users.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this section without notice.

5. Your account, your data

You own the descriptions and reports you create. PitCrew has a license to store and process them only to the extent needed to run the service. See the privacy policy for specifics.

You can delete your account and all attached reports at any time via Settings → Delete my data. We will not retain a backup beyond standard infrastructure retention.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: PitCrew is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including, specifically, financial decisions made on the basis of the forecast.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes (new fees, new restrictions, expanded data use) will be flagged at the top of the app for 30 days before they take effect, and the last-updated date here will change.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
